The ending was not what I expected but it was a good ending. Great movie

Ordered 2 and got em in about a week. Been very excited to watch and I did. Some comments about the green screen and the sound make little sense, I don’t think John ever said I use shit tons of special effects like some kinda John Wick movie. I’m still waiting to hear the movie, I need to get some blue tooth going to connect to my hearing aids cause I deaf as a door knob. The only complaint from me would be no close captions. So still for 5 big starts John.

My fiance is a disabled combat veteran. I watched him tear up throughout this movie. We're both glad that the flag he fought for,is still respected . Thank you for the movie. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately this is what our great nation is coming to and fixing it is not going to be good

To die for was a tear jerker, but I loved it, I love the message it sends. My husband was a disabled veteran, he loved everything our flag stands for, he has passed of lung cancer in July 2018. Bless you.

Great movie great story great actor

Consider this a critical assessment of a story that really grew on me. I'm a 38 year veteran of the USAF/Air National Guard. The flag to me represents so much as I've served under it for nearly 4 decades. I began my career as a Television Studio Engineer (in the mid to late 80s) so I can nitpick video and production quality unfortunately (it's a curse!). Understand that superior quality requires a lot of money... There was one part of the production that the video quality drifted into bad resolution. There was also a distracting utilization of matte shots (a lot) or back in the day, chroma key shots. One obvious scene was when the protagonist was in his El Camino and the matte was making the green in the uniform translucent. Most of the chroma key or mattes we did were green screen back in the day. Made for an interesting day as an engineer adjusting the key. One thing Hollyweird gets blatantly wrong (amongst firearm workings) is portrayal of military people. The uniform the Gunny was wearing was not remotely an issue uniform. Quite frankly, anyone that would pull that "got the call" on a veteran would deserve a beating with a 3 foot rubber hose. I would love to be an advisor on a film on military protocol and procedures. Maybe when I call it a career, I could do so... So, let's get off of what would be construed as negative commentary. The acting was in my humble opinion, on par. I firmly believe some of the actors are not remotely A listers and were amateur; they did a great job. John of course is a real pro! I am not stupid as to what production costs are so throwing unrealistic production quality aside, I really enjoyed this story. Quite often, people who would align to the protagonist's values, would be automatically labeled a racist or extremist. Bravo for John softly bring into view that the character was anything but and "ist". I really enjoyed this movie. There's a lot of people of all stripes who love the flag and what it stands for. Are there stains on her fabric? Certainly, but we've come a long way, baby!! Bravo, John!! And please accept my condolences on a huge loss that you've experienced. I have too, but my soulmate currently sits at my right side. God be with us all!

Great movie with an important message that America needs to see and understand.

This is the best ever most patriotic movie I have ever seen . Every American should feel the same as John ! We need to honor and fight for what the flag stands for .

well i seen clips of the movie to die for and it looked like good movie so i ordered the dvd, got in the mail few days ago. i watch the movie, i thought the movie was great. i enjoyed the movie, very patriotic too. john schneider did a great job in the movie, he is one of my most favorite actors.

The story couldn’t have been better and the acting was fantastic! Hands down, I will be watching this multiple times and it will make a GREAT stocking stuffer this Christmas for friends and family. John, I can’t thank you enough for putting forth the investments of time, resources, and your heart n soul into this film. Thank you for having the courage to honor our veterans and speak the truth in this twisted cancel culture we currently live in. You made the vast majority of Americans feel like we actually are the majority again by saying what we’re all thinking through story and script… thank you again.

Watched the movie plan on watching it again. A must see movie for everyone.

It was a very good story. Being an independently made movie, the quality isn't what we're used to and I got distracted by that at times. However, I was happy to purchase and view this movie if for no other reason than to support a great American.

We enjoyed the Movie. Passing it around. Times we are living in have me convinced of what I have believed my whole life (63). This is the revolution I have been waiting for. I pray daily that all gets back on track (God's track) and in my lifetime! ;)

I rented To Die For a couple of weeks ago and decided I wanted to own a hard copy. Your patriotism is much appreciated.

Loved the story line of standing up for what you believe, in spite of the consequences. Sad that the main character died. He made an impact, in the end, on many people who at first couldn't understand his strong belief regarding how our country is so disrespected today.

Loved the movie's message. We are seeing too much political correction and "going along" in today's USA. It's becoming a fad to hate America including liberals (small L intentional), Hollywood, higher education, big corporations, and now even the military. Patriotism is dying because of these haters. Every school aged child should be required to tour Arlington Cemetery and hear the many stories of sacrifice and bravery. Note: You may want to check the spelling of several words in the closing credits!

Ok so the story was great but want out together the best ...the green screen was horrible and there was a lot of bad acting and the sound quality was pretty bad ...I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but was definitely disappointed in the quality of the film ...it's a great story it's just a shame it was so badly filmed ...I love John Schneider and he's a great actor and singer ...hell I even named my dog Bo

I really liked the message this movie puts out alot of us American's feel exactly this way.I realize this isn't a Hollywood production film but I wish the video quality could have been better but again it's about the message it brings. Excellent work John and thanks for standing up and being a real American patriot.

I actually saw the video on sale on Facebook and decided to order it. In the process I saw the other DVD selections and got all three. We watched To Die For the evening we got delivery and it was great. we'll watch the other 2 in the coming days

Excellent movie. Hit the nail on the head. Being a retired Veteran, the oath I took at 18 lives inside of me today.

The ending could have been more clear as to what happened to the main character. He was last seen lying on the ground, saying he was okay, and sounding like he was indeed going to make it because the gunshot wound presumably didn't hit any vital organs. But then the closing scene seems to be saying he died. And there should have been some justice rendered to those punk teenagers; the movie should have shown them after a trial that convicted them all of malicious mayhem that essentially instigated the death of an innocent and righteous man defending his own property, which was his right to do under the U.S. Constitution, as well as (i would think) the State Constitution of Louisiana.

The movie was good me and my boys liked it very much I'm 100% agree with the message this movie puts out we should stand behind the American flag that stands for freedom also stands for all the people that has sacrifice their life to keep this country free

Aside from the video being loose in the case and bouncing around during shipping, the disc plays without any problem. To die for is a very good film. Haven't gotten to the ending yet. I did notice the wrecked charger in the picture by behind your interview. Christmas cars was another good one.

Bought the dvd “To DIe For” Watched it as our Friday night movie. It definitely is a story that many can relate to today in the cancel culture world we live in. A story that needs to be told . It shows the many layers of how it affects a whole community, not just one . A movie that I have recommended at least a dozen times since I watched it Friday night and it’s only Tuesday morning .

We enjoyed To Die For not so much for the production level. But more so the story line. As a veteran myself I could relate. I fly old glory 24/7 in my back yard and dare anyone to touch her. I was blessed in that my time served was in peace time. But I take my vow to heart. And I will defend her till my last breath. I will not stand down. After the last election, as much as it pained me I flipped her upside down in distress for our country. We don't know the future , but I will live and die a patriot defending our freedom. Thank you for making this movie. Maybe it can get through to some of these folks that want to throw it all away.

I am letting family members bring it home and watch it. Since I watched to die for I suddenly noticed how many businesses and yes even schools aren't flying the flag, and have been bringing it to their attention. I used to see the flag flying everywhere and hopefully it will be again. I also love what would Jesus do. Keep up the good work. So sorry for your loss♥️ God bless

To Die For tells the way I’ve been feeling lately. I’m a Vietnam Vet who’s father served in both WW2 and the Korean War and I’ve been raised patriotic and the current lack of patriotism and the direction our country seems to be heading has caused me a lot of frustration. Your movie tells everyone how I feel. I properly fly my flag at my home 24/7 and although no one has been stupid enough to tell me to tale it down, I have been asked why I fly my flag every day. But if someone tries to tell me to take it down or even thinks they can take my flag down, they will be opening a whole can of whop-ass. I’m old and disabled but like depicted in your movie, I’ll die before that happens. Thank you for your patriotism and good work, Robert A. Reed

This America is unlike anything I've ever heard of or seen. One person can "feel" triggered or uncomfortable and all that America stands for is torn down. The FLAG is our Country, our men and women died for it, it is America.

We saw the previews and it really hit home. My youngest son is deployed to Eastern Europe. He also served 2 tours in the Afghan war. When he came home before re-enlisting, he wasn't treated very well. This movie really hit home. Thank you for making it.

This is our country, men and women died for the right to display our not display or flag. I would've done the same thing in this movie. My family and I just moved from California to Arkansas and I already feel I have more freedoms and rights in Arkansas than I did in California. We'll done in the movie.

This has to be the most recent patriotic film and I can say Quint reminds me of my grandfather because he also couldn’t wait to be with my grandmother and was a veteran. Hope maybe you make a part 2 or some other patriotic film because you killed this one John

This movie speaks volumes. My Father served in the Army. He served in Germany during peace time after the Korean war where his older brother died in combat from mortar fire. He told of seeing the crematoriums where the jews were killed. How it made him so sad thinking about the injustice done to them because of who they were. This country is being oppressed by those who are self centered and forget what our flag truly represents. I remember the controversy over the confederate flag being flown on government buildings and saying it symbolized racism. Well not entirely true. It depends on the individual who is flying it. I made a speech about it in public speaking class in college. I used the General Lee and the Dukes to prove my point. The Dukes were not racist. They had southern pride which is what the confederate flag on the roof symbolized. I also showed that the KU Klux Klan were always flying the American Flag not the confederate flag in their marches. Point being is a flag in itself is not a negative symbol. Its how you are using it that matters. The American flag stands for a lot more than a country or the government who runs it. It stands for all the men and women who died for it clear back to the birth of this country. Although i thought the script could use some improving, the message is very clear. Hats off to ya John. You make America proud.

The incredible hulk dukes and Dallas. The family all together no video games no politically correctness. I hope America can get back to that someday. Thanks for all you do.

I love the story and the patriot Spirit the character had. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and still remember that proudness for the flag! I miss it.
