T-tops were a bit too hokey. Unfinished look and the Firebird graphics were not needed. Tyrus was a big miscast. A '59 T-Bird convertible at the end? Really? How about a "69 GTX convertible with everyone aboard pulling a tire shredding hole shot on the way out. The DVD is now sitting in my extensive DVD collection in the car movie wallet with "Two Lane Blacktop", "bullitt", "Vanishing Point", "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry", "The Big Wheel", "The Lively Set", "Heart Like a Wheel", "Dead Man's Curve", "Smokey and the Bandit", "Cannonball Run", just to name a few. The wife and I just finished watching "Stand On It". HOT DOG WITH MUSTARD AND RELISH! That was good fun! The flavor was similar to putting "Smokey and The Bandit", "The Dukes of Hazard" and "Hee Haw" in a blender. The movie has a distinct nostalgic taste, chocked full of hearty laughter. Snooty movie connoisseurs will likely turn their noses up because this movie isn't presented in a slick high dollar production; but if you prefer old time, fun loving, southern style fare, this dish is for you! Thank-you for bringing fun back to movie night.

My wife gave me Stand On It; Poker Run and Christmas Cars for my birthday this year. Of the three, Christmas Cars is my favorite, though I greatly enjoyed all three. It will definitely be added to our Christmas movie watch list this Holiday Season. Both Stand On It and Poker Run were fun movies and I loved the references to Smokie and the Bandit and Dukes of Hazzard in both. They are both what you say they were meant to be, fun movies. STAND ON IT is fabulous, action packed, incredibly funny, hilarious, extremely interesting, and fun to watch!
I love the twists and how they worked in lines from other movies! I loved the way they would "almost" mention other names, then stop and not say them. That was so cool! Totally neat, the twists on the characters names. The Fred and Frog switch up was brilliant.
I watched STAND ON IT, loved it so much that I watched it again 4 hours later! I have never done before. STAND ON IT is a brilliant spoof of Smokey and The Bandit part one!
I am a farmer and a pure good ole county boy through and through. I truly appreciate you making this movie! I would enjoy spending a few hours hanging out with you here on my farm! Over 200 acres of country farmland and wildlife! Some of my toys include: two 4 wheelers and a brand new "orange" Kubota RTV side by side, a dune buggy, and get this, I have a 5 ton military dump truck! I think you would enjoy yourself here for a few hours! Stop by, have an enjoyable time cruising around my farm! I am small time, but I am pure country!
